Kate Kilgus is a single-maker artisan residing in Harrisville, New Hampshire. She has been weaving for over twenty years on a Nilus II Leclerc floor loom. Kate utilizes traditional weaving structures as a starting point for designing textiles for the home. Her handwoven table runners, placemats, and kitchen towels can be found in homes throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. She exhibits her work at select fine craft events throughout New England and several retail galleries in New Hampshire. Kate is a juried member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, Fiber Division. Her work has been published in several magazines, including Design New England (Jan/Feb 2013) and Log Home Living (Dec 2016), and NH Magazine (July 2020). Awards include “Best in Wearable Fiber,” League of NH Craftsmen, August 2020.
